RC Soft is Softening agent for epoxy resin based root canal sealants. RC Soft is used to soften phenolic resin type sealers, when root canal re-opening is required after filling.

The operative field should be completely isolated: the use of a rubber dam around the tooth is recommended, as in all root-canal therapy. Mechanically clean out the pulp chamber and the entrance to the canals. Place a drop of RC SOFT into the chamber and clear the canal, using first a probe, then a broach, always dipping the point of the instrument in RC SOFT before inserting it in the canal. The instrument must be removed from the canal and wiped as soon as resistance is felt. Repeat the operation several times, until reaching the apex. After using RC SOFT to remove the old filling material, it is essential to prepare the tooth again and to carefully dry it, particularly when using a zinc-oxide eugenol cement as the new filling material.
Avoid exposure, obtain special instructions before use. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible). In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. This material and its container must be disposed of as hazardous waste.
